Implemented using proven PTI components and services, Child Nav Groups enables organizations to expand from a single user Child Nav Pro application to a connected multi-user, multi-site implementation. Through automation and API driven integration, to the extent possible Child Nav Groups reduces labor and costs, while seamlessly engaging parents and providers to better support each child’s health and development trajectory. One size does not fit all, requiring Child Nav Groups to be highly configurable to meet your organization’s specific needs.
Child Profile Management – Supporting a child over time, Child Nav IPS Developmental Checkups, resulting actions and touchpoint messaging needs to be connected to an associated child profile. Use a PTI Front Desk component to manually manage child profiles, initiate screenings and manage results. Screenings are initiated by creating a launch request that can be directed locally to a tablet or kiosk running a PTI Office component at a point-of-service or remotely to the parent via a unique Parent Access link in a text or email. Adding the child profile to a registry, screening launch requests and touchpoint messaging are automatically initiated based on the configurable registry schedule. To become fully automated, setup a PTI API to integrate with your local profile and data management system or EMR, creating launch requests and accessing results as part of your normal workflow.
Parent Access and Engagement – Medical clinics, WIC clinics, home-visiting programs, etc. can include parent access as part of the visit enabling easier reimbursement and better parent response but potentially interfering with the office workflow. Using a scheduled remote launch request via text or email prior to the visit, or independent of a visit, is more convenient for the parent and can trigger reminder notification when needed. With the ready access to smartphones for most parents it generally works best to start with a remote launch request. If the screening has not been completed prior to a visit, send a reminder to complete the screening to the parent when they check in at the point-of-service. Whether visit based or not, automatically initiating remote screening requests works best and can be done as part of scheduling in an EMR or other profile management system, or generated based on a registry schedule. Touchpoint messaging for better parent engagement and follow up is managed automatically as well.
Provider Access and Engagement – Provider access can be implemented using the Child Nav Pro Provider Management Portal link, using a PTI Front Desk component, using a PTI Print Station component to automatically download result PDF reports or using a PTI API service to automatically send results to your child profile management system or EMR. These methods can be used in combination, with automated methods working best, attempting to maintain a normal workflow.
Account Configuration, Installation, Training and Management – Child Nav Groups’ per administration pricing is all-inclusive of the different types of access and API transactions that get implemented. Initial configuration, installation and training can be complex and is covered under the Account Setup fee. Completing a Client Configuration Questionnaire, used in Next Steps, is the easiest place to start. For easy migration from Child Nav Pro to Child Nav Groups, 100% of Child Nav Pro setup fees are applied to Child Nav Groups setup fees when you make the switch.
